Record high temperature recorded
A record high temperature was set in the Twin Cities.
Forecasters say a reading of 50 degrees at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport Monday broke the old record of 49 degrees for Dec. 15 set back in 1923.
KSTP-TV reports the warm air won't last long. Colder air and up to 2 inches of snow is possible Monday evening and overnight. And the longer range forecast has some additional snow right around Christmas.
