3 dead in separate crashes Saturday

A 16-year-old boy was among three people killed in fatal crashes across the state Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that three people died in three separate accidents over the weekend.

Sixteen-year-old Ross Blomgren of Butterfield was killed when the vehicle he was in rolled over several times on Highway 60 near Madelia in Watonwan County.

In Wadena County, 23-year-old Gabriel Kemp of Bluffton died in a head-on crash with a semi on Highway 71.

Wet roads were noted by the State Patrol in both of those accidents.

In Kanabec County, one person was killed in a two-vehicle, head-on accident on Highway 107 near Grasston. The State Patrol says the roadway was foggy. The victim in that crash hasn't been identified.
