E-cigarettes top smoking among U.S. teens, study shows

E-cigarettes are growing in popularity among teenagers, according to new research released this week by the University of Michigan.

The study, funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, found that 17.1 percent of high school seniors surveyed used e-cigarettes in the past month compared to 7.2 percent that used conventional cigarettes.
