Label rediscovers a secret stash of Chicago R&B
Today's Morning Edition music is from McKinley Mitchell with "What Love Will Make You Do."
It's one of the tracks on a collection put out by Minneapolis-based Secret Stash Records.
They have acquired music recorded by a now defunct Chicago-based label called One-derful Records.
Over the next year, Secret Stash will be releasing six CDs of One-derful music recorded between 1962 and 1971.
Mitchell was the first star the label signed. This previously unreleased song was recorded in 1962.
