Man killed in crash with semi in Kandiyohi Co.

One person died in a collision on a Kandiyohi County highway when a Cadillac crossed the center line and ran head-on into a tractor-trailer.
The Minnesota State Patrol said Shawn Murphy, 34, of Graceville, Minn., who at the wheel of the Cadillac Deville, died in the crash.
The semi driver, 48-year-old Ronald Bloomquist was seriously injured, the State Patrol said Friday night.
The crash occurred on Highway 12 just west of Pennock, Minn., shortly before 7 a.m., according to a preliminary report from the Minnesota State Patrol.
Highway 12 was temporarily closed in both directions after the collision, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. It reopened shortly after noon.
