The Como Zoo's new baby orangutan is back with her mom and back at the zoo.

"She is now bonding and resting comfortably in the arms of her mother," the zoo said in a statement Friday morning.

The baby orangutan was born by cesarean section on Jan. 7 and stayed briefly at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center's ICU. Zookeepers gradually introduced the two, and handed the baby back to the mother, Markisa, last week.

The two are still being kept behind closed doors at the zoo while they bond, zoo officials said.

Como Zoo also announced a naming contest — based on cash donations to the zoo. The zoo is asking contributors to pick from three names: Aanjay, Cinta and Kemala. Voters can contribute online, or at the Como Zoo visitor center.

The baby's name will be announced on Feb. 16.
