Dayton to unveil transportation plan

Transportation is back in the spotlight Monday at the State Capitol, as DFL Gov. Mark Dayton unveils his plan for funding road, bridge and transit projects.

Dayton has been talking for weeks about transportation. Now we'll see specifics, and how they compare to the plans that House Republicans and Senate Democrats have already released.

Dayton is also rolling out his two-year budget proposal on Tuesday.

MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with Minnesota Public Radio Capitol reporter Tim Pugmire about the busy week ahead for state lawmakers.
