Habsburg Empire art makes a rare trip to Minnesota
It's not often that works from Europe's famous Habsburg Empire make their way to the United States.
The Habsburgs ruled much of Europe for over 600 years, ending with World War I.
They were famous for their art collections and for using art to increase their power and reach.
The Minneapolis Institute of Arts is offering a rare chance to see some of the Habsburg works here in Minnesota.
Listen to the audio to hear MPR News' Cathy Wurzer tour the exhibit with Kaywin Feldman, director and president of the MIA.
