Wolves fans snatch up all 1,000 free tickets in 3 minutes

That was fast.

All 1,000 free tickets, courtesy of Kevin Garnett, for Monday night's Timberwolves game were claimed by fans in fewer than three minutes.

The giveaway started online at 9 a.m. Monday.

Over the weekend, the Timberwolves announced Garnett was giving away 1,000 tickets to the game to thank fans for their support.

Garnett was drafted by the Wolves in 1995 and spent his first 12 seasons with the team. He's since had stints with the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets.

Garnett rejoined the Wolves last week through a trade.
