Overturned semi shuts westbound I-494 at I-35W

As if the blowing snow this morning wasn't enough, Twin Cities commuters heading home Tuesday faced another headache.
Westbound Interstate 494 at Interstate 35W was closed until 10 p.m. while an overturned semitrailer was righted, the State Patrol said. The northbound I-35W ramp connecting to westbound 494 was also closed for a time.
Air bags were used to get the semitrailer back on its wheels.
