4 people rescued from ice on Lake Superior in Duluth

Duluth fire officials say four people were rescued from the ice on Lake Superior after one of them fell through.

The incident happened Tuesday evening near the concrete structure known as Uncle Harvey's Mausoleum in Canal Park.

The fire department says the girl was able to get out of the water after falling though a crack in the ice. Rescue crews went out to help all four people and bring them back to shore.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says two of the four people were children.

WDIO-TV reports no one was injured.
