Today's Morning Edition music is from Delfeayo Marsalis on the trombone and his father Ellis Marsalis on the piano with their version of the "Sesame Street" theme song.

They will be performing together Wednesday night at the Dakota Jazz Club in downtown Minneapolis.

This song is from a new album that they collaborated on called "The Last Southern Gentlemen." It's the first time that the father-son duo have recorded a full album together.

Ellis Marsalis, who is now 80 years old, has been playing and teaching jazz for over 50 years. He is also the father of Branford and Wynton Marsalis.
