Alabama Shakes out with new music

Today's Morning Edition music is the track"Shoegaze" by Alabama Shakes, from their new album "Sound and Color. The record is out Tuesday.
The band, which features charismatic lead singer Brittany Howard, has been building a strong fan base since their first album came out in 2012.
Their recent performance at Coachella received rave reviews. The band is coming to the Twin Cities May 30 for an outdoor show at Hall's Island. That's the new park space in Minneapolis under the Plymouth Avenue Bridge.
