E-health library could offer public pro-level medical info

One of the proposals currently under consideration in conference committee at the Minnesota Legislature would establish a Minnesota Electronic Health Library.

This resource could be used by medical professionals and ordinary residents to find the latest medical information. Akin to a professional-grade version of an Internet service like WebMD, it would be available to anyone in Minnesota for free.

MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with Janice Jaguszewski, an advocate for the proposal. She is also a director and associate librarian for the University of Minnesota Health Sciences.
