One of the debates that's been jumpstarted with the attacks in Charleston is whether one of Minneapolis's most popular and most visited lakes should be renamed.

Should Lake Calhoun's name be changed because it's named for former Vice President; South Carolina Senator and ardent supporter of slavery John Calhoun?

A campaign to make the change is gaining attention, but the cause isn't a new one.
