The significance of Obama's eulogy for slain Charleston pastor

President Obama's eulogy for Reverend Clementa Pinckney stirred the nation on Friday. Pinckney was the pastor of Emanuel African Methodist Episcopalian church in Charleston, S.C. He was killed along with eight other people last week when a white man opened fire during a Bible study at the historic black church.

Duchess Harris, a professor and chair of the American Studies department at Macalester College, joined MPR News' Tom Weber before the president spoke to discuss the significance of his eulogy and how the national conversation on racism is changing.
