Two of the most popular speakers at the annual Aspen Ideas Festival are David Brooks and Katie Couric.
At this year's event, they talked about Brooks' new best-selling book, "The Road to Character."
Brooks says the ability to make really strong commitments is the essence of character building. And, he says, these commitments must be made to a family, a creed, a vocation and a community.
