Bombino, a performer born in norther Niger, will perform Tuesday night at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis.

He is a member of Tuareg tribe, nomads who live across the Sahara Desert.  The BBC calls his music "utterly, utterly fantastic" and Rolling Stone describes his latest album as "a perfect match of sound and soul that introduces a new guitar hero."
