Weekend road closures bring more slow go around the metro
Summer road construction season slogs on this weekend across the Twin Cities. A key northbound chunk of Minnesota Highway 100 will close tonight, as will a stretch of Interstate 35E north.
Be prepared as you make your way to the State Fair or to a Minnesota Twins game the next few days. Here are the weekend hassle highlights from the Minnesota Department of Transportation .
Highway 100, Edina
Northbound Highway 100 between Minnesota Highway 62 and Interstate 494 will be closed from 10 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m. Monday.
I-35E between Little Canada and White Bear Lake
Northbound I-35E between Interstate 694 and Minnesota Highway 96 will be closed from 9 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. Monday. There are many lane and ramp closures in the area.
Interstate 35W in Arden Hills and New Brighton
I-35W at County Road 96 will be closed from 10 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m.
