Rochester man arrested in fatal shooting at mobile home park
A 19-year-old Rochester man has been arrested in a shooting at a mobile home park that killed one man and injured two others.
The man was arrested Tuesday morning after several hours of a standoff that ended after officers fired a chemical irritant into a home.
The Post-Bulletin of Rochester reports the man is suspected of firing a full magazine — 15 bullets — into a group of people playing basketball Monday afternoon near Parkside Mobile Home Park.
Police say 22-year-old Trumane Gillmore of Rochester was killed in the shooting Monday afternoon outside Parkside Mobile Home Park. A 20-year-old Rochester man and an 18-year-old Chicago man both suffered minor gunshot wounds.
