After seeing Pope Francis in Philadelphia over the weekend, religion professor Anthea Butler writes in The Guardian, "the Pope is taking his church from the culture wars into the streets."

She says the fact that he did not mention the word "abortion" is a signal to conservatives in the Church that inclusion is more important.

Butler, an associate professor of Religion and Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, joins Tom Weber on MPR News to discuss her views on the Pope's visit to the US.
