Wessell Anderson to headline new jazz series at Orchestra Hall

Today's Morning Edition music is from saxophone player Wessell "Warm-daddy" Anderson and his band with the song "I'll Forget May."

Anderson will be in performing Thursday night at Orchestra Hall's Target Atrium.

He's one of the featured performers in the first in a series of jazz shows that will be held in that space.

He will be joined by The Atrium Jazz Ensemble led by artistic director Jeremy Walker. They will interpret music selected thematically for our region including "Lazy River" by Hoagy Carmichael and "Girl from the North Country" by Bob Dylan.
