Officials in western Minnesota still searching for missing woman

Sheriff's investigators in western Minnesota are asking the public for any information that could help locate a missing woman.

Laura Schwendemann, 18,was last seen at an Alexandria gas station around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 14.

Douglas County Sheriff Troy Wolbersen said she left with a man she knew. "We've had conversations with him and received some information from those conversations," Wolbersen told KARE-11.

Wolbersen says authorities need help locating a blue house that has a statue near the driveway of a boy wearing a red hat.

He says Schwendemann and the man may have driven past that house, and finding it could help investigators narrow their search.
