Berlin authorities erected the new tent camp, now with a capacity for 1,600 people, last week in a hasty effort to deal with new migrants, at least 300 of whom arrived by bus early this morning and more are expected today and in coming days. Approximately 20,000 migrants, mostly traveling via Hungary, arrived in Germany by train in the last 48 hours and a further 10,000 are expected today. Authorities are distributing them to registration centers and shelters nationwide.
