Police: 2 dead, 1 hurt in Minneapolis shooting

Police say two men have been found fatally shot in a Minneapolis parking lot and a third was seriously injured.

Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson John Elder says police received a report of shots fired around 7:45 p.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived at an apartment complex, they found three individuals inside a vehicle in the parking lot. Elder says all three were males and appeared to be adults. They have not yet been identified.

Two were dead and the third was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Elder says that man is expected to survive.

Police believe the three victims were at least acquainted with the suspect or suspects.

No one is in custody. An investigation is ongoing.
