Officials identify Lakeville South students killed in car crash

The Dakota County Sheriff's Office has identified two Lakeville South High School students killed in a rollover crash on Friday.

The Sheriff's office said Jacob Flynn, 17, and John Price, 18, were killed in a rollover crash on 225th Street, just west of Dodd Road.

The truck they were riding in rolled over, ejecting both of them. Two other students were also in the vehicle. One suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center. The other was able to talk and walk after the accident, but was taken by ambulance to HCMC.

Lakeville Area Public Schools confirmed that all four involved in the wreck were Lakeville South High School students. The district is offering grief support for students and staff. District officials cancelled all Lakeville South High School weekend activities.
