The announcement of next week's protest includes a list of five demands, three of them directly related to the the Clark shooting and protests that followed.

The rally is slated to be in the mall's east rotunda — the main gathering space at the giant shopping center.

Black Lives Matter organized a similar protest last year the weekend before Christmas, drawing thousands of demonstrators. The protest also temporarily closed some stores during a period of busy holiday shopping.

More than two dozen people were arrested and 11 organizers were charged. The charges against organizers have been dismissed, but a judge let stand tresspassing charges against more than a dozen participants.

The mall is a private property and its policy does not allow protests. It hasn't yet responded to a request for comment.
