Indoors: 'A Christmas Carol' ... in Klingon

You know the story of Scrooge and Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol." But do you know the Klingon version?

No?

You can fix that by catching the last shows of "A Klingon Christmas Carol" at the Historic Mounds Theatre in St. Paul.

It will be presented in original Klingon with English subtitles.

Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door. VIP tickets are also available.

Outdoors: What a hoot

Go prowling for owls by moonlight at Whitewater State Park this Saturday.

Participants will start by watching a presentation on native owls before heading out to look for the birds in the park. If there's sufficient snowfall, it'll be done by snowshoe, so bring your own or borrow a pair from the park.
