Get ready to go subzero and prepare for bitter winds

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with University of Minnesota climatologist Mark Seeley about the big cool down headed to Minnesota.

Going subzero is typical for this time of year, says Seeley. However, it's the wind and related wind chills that are of greatest concern.

A bit of good news is in the works for late January when a spell of warmer than normal temperatures return, he said.
