Soprano Kelly Kaduce sings in MN Opera's Rusalka
Soprano Kelly Kaduce is back home in Minnesota to sing a role she's sung here before. She'll be in the Minnesota Opera production of Rusalka beginning this weekend.
The music is by the Czech composer Antonin Dvorak. It's based on a folktale of a mermaid who falls in love with a mortal. In fairy tales and operas, that seldom turns out well.
Kaduce is becoming known the Rusalka not just here, but on stages all over.
