Should schools celebrate holidays?

Principal Scott Masini of Bruce Vento Elementary School recently informed parents the school would no longer celebrate certain holidays, including Valentine's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
MPR's Bob Collins, author of the NewsCut blog, received dozens of comments when he wrote about the decision. Collins joined Tom Weber to discuss the debate over celebrations in schools, and to take listener calls on the subject.
