Anne-Marie Slaughter stirred up the discussion about work and family life with a provocative 2012 article in The Atlantic, titled "Why Women Still Can't Have it All." She explores the ways women and men can balance career success with a fulfilling home life in her new book, "Unfinished Business: Women Men Work Family." The CEO of New America says it's a national security problem that we don't invest in our children.

She spoke October 2015 at the Commonwealth Club of California. Moderator is Clara Jeffrey of Mother Jones magazine.
