D Mills and the Thrills perform Dylan and compete in Tiny Desk contest
Today's Morning Edition is from the Fargo, N.D.-based band D Mills and the Thrills with "Soft Spot," their entry in NPR's Tiny Desk Contest for unsigned bands.
Over 6,000 bands entered the contest. The winner, which will be announced Tuesday, will perform a tiny desk concert at NPR's headquarters and go on a U.S. tour.
While they await the announcement of the winner, the two lead singers from D Mills and the Thrills will be performing "The Times They Are A-Changin'" at Dylanfest Saturday afternoon at the Fargo Theater.
