The race for delegates rages on and the political rhetoric continues to heat up as voters in 12 states head to the polls this Super Tuesday.

MPR News host Kerri Miller enlisted the help of 

, the director of the Racial Politics Project at UC-Berkeley, and 

, Assistant Professor of Political Communication at Louisiana State University, to sift through candidates' stump speeches and dissect the coded language being used to describe issues on race and gender.

This hour MPR News host Kerri Miller asked her guests to offer up examples of the "coded" language political candidates, and their supporters, use to indicate how they feel about issues of race and gender.  Ian F. Haney Lopez, the director of the Racial Politics Project, and Kathleen Searles, Assistant Professor of Political Communication at Louisiana State University joined Kerri for this program.  3/1/16
