Hallberg's Picture of Health: The impact of Zika

There's new evidence suggesting that the Zika virus can cause birth defects.

A recent study in the latest edition of the New England Journal of Medicine says Zika virus "infection during pregnancy appears to be associated with grave outcomes."

Dr. Jon Hallberg, MPR News' regular medical analyst, sat down with All Things Considered host Tom Crann to discuss the current state of the virus and the NEJM study.

Hallberg also explained how he's handling Zika concerns with his patients and if any health guidelines have changed recently.
