Friday roundtable: week in review

This week was not short on news.

Tuesday, presidential hopeful Marco Rubio withdrew from the race after a disappointing primary loss in his home state of Florida. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton advanced their leads by outpacing their opponents in the delegate count.

Wednesday, President Obama's announcement of Merrick Garland as his pick for Supreme Court nominee was immediately followed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declaring once again to take no action in advancing the nomination process.

And, locally, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said Wednesday that there would be no grand jury in the Jamar Clark police shooting case.
