Economists Louis Johnston and Chris Farrell team up to discuss the state of the economy, in an event held in Alexandria at the Senior College of West Central Minnesota. Farrell and Johnston say the economy is basically healthy and going in the right direction, but the "distribution of well-being" isn't very good. Gary Eichten was the moderator.

Louis Johnston is professor of economics at the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University. Chris Farrell is senior economics contributor for APM's Marketplace and the author of several books on personal finance, including "Unretirement" and "The New Frugality." Gary Eichten is MPR's editor-at-large. The event was held April 26, 2016.
