The last performance of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical" at the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis is Sunday. The show, based on the popular children's books by Jeff Kinney, was staged for the first time at the Children's Theatre.

After it closes here, the highly successful production could be headed for Broadway. The producers are in town this week to tweak the show as they look to get it staged in a new venue.

One of those producers is Kevin McCollum, who has produced many successful Broadway shows including "Rent," "Avenue Q" and "Something Rotten."
