Free tickets are available starting Friday morning for an open house at U.S. Bank Stadium next month.

The new stadium's open house weekend will take place on July 23-24, according to the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority. Those with tickets for the open house will be allowed to tour the main concourse, an exclusive club between the 30-yard lines and the stadium's upper concourse.

The open house weekend will also include child-friendly activities outside the stadium, including giant games and movies in the park. Tickets won't be required to attend outside activities.

Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority Chair Michele Kelm-Helgen said in a statement that the open house will be the first time the stadium will be open to the general public.

The agency has also been selling tickets for more extensive guided tours of the stadium for $19 since last month.

The Vikings will play their first home game at the stadium on Aug. 28 and their regular season home opener on Sept. 18 against the Packers

Tickets for the open house are available through Ticketmaster starting at 10 a.m. Friday.
