Sean Lennon part of collaboration playing in Minneapolis
Today's Morning Edition music is from The Claypool Lennon Delirium with "Cricket and the Genie." They will be performing tonight at the Skyway Theater in Minneapolis.
The band is a new collaboration between Les Claypool of Primus and Sean Lennon, the 40-year-old son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
Claypool says "Sean is a musical mutant after my own heart. He definitely reflects his genetics — not just the sensibilities of his dad but also the abstract perspective and unique approach of his mother. It makes for a glorious freak stew."
