Minnesota Highway 100 closes in both directions in the west metro starting tonight. It's the Twin Cities biggest hassle this weekend but, oh, there are more.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation weekend roadwork map is dotted with clusters of single lanes and ramp closures.

Here's a heads-up on the biggest ones.

Highway 100. Both directions of Highway 100 between Interstate 394 and Minnesota Highway 62 will close at 10 p.m. Friday. Crews will begin closing the ramps at 9 p.m. Both directions of the highway will reopen to two lanes by 5 a.m. Monday.

I-35E, St. Paul. Southbound Interstate 35E will be a single lane between University Avenue and Interstate 94 from 6 a.m. Saturday through 5 a.m. Monday. Also closed during that time: the ramp from University Avenue to southbound I-35E/westbound I-94 and from southbound I-35E to eastbound I-94/southbound Minnesota Highway 52.

I-94 bridges, St. Paul. The entrance ramps from Dale Street to both eastbound and westbound I-94 will close beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday through early November. The exit ramps from I-94 to Dale Street will remain open.
