Police ID man shot and killed in south Minneapolis last week

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office has identified a man shot and killed in Minneapolis last week.

Mario Martell McGee, 27, of St. Paul died from a gunshot wound to the back just after 8 a.m. Thursday morning at 24th Street and Oakland Avenue in Minneapolis.

The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating McGee's death. No arrests have been made.
