Crash on I-29 south of Fargo kills 63-year-old man

A 63-year-old man is dead after crashing into a bridge guard rail on Interstate 29 in southeastern North Dakota.

The Highway Patrol says the man was traveling south in the northbound lanes, and his car drifted onto the shoulder and hit the guard rail about 6 miles south of Fargo.

The man died at the scene shortly after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The patrol did not immediately release his name. He was alone in the car.
