Forget "Pokemon Go" (if it's not yet passé).

You can search for real animals near the South Pole, all from the comfort of your couch.

The University of Minnesota is asking for the public's help with counting Weddell seals in Antarctica by scanning through satellite images.

Michelle LaRue is the lead researcher with Satellites Over Seals for the university. She joined All Things Considered host Tom Crann to discuss the project.
