The Summer Olympics kick off next week in Brazil. Many athletes are already on their way to Rio, and that includes several from Minnesota.

Twenty-year-old Kelly Catlin of Arden Hills has been training in California leading up to the games. She'll be competing in track cycling, a sport she's only picked up in the past couple of years.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Catlin.
