Today's Morning Edition music is from "We Got the Beat" by the GoGo's. Lead singer Belinda Carlisle celebrates a birthday Wednesday. She's 58.

The Go-Go's are about midway through their Farewell Tour this summer. They remain one of the most successful all-female bands of all time. They've said they'll be done touring for good after this summer.

So what's next for the group? Well, they say they're working on a musical that's headed for Broadway in 2018.
