Sex? More millennials are saying 'meh'

The "hook-up" narrative is rampant, but the number of millennials having sex is not.

Millennials are waiting longer to have sex and having fewer sexual partners than the Gen X'ers or Boomers before them, according to a recent study.

Jean Twenge is a psychology professor at San Diego State, and one of the authors for the study. She spoke with MPR News host Kerri Miller to talk about the trends she found along with Lisa Wade, sociology professor at Occidental College and author of the upcoming book "American Hookup: The New Culture of Sex on Campus."
