Police probe woman's death in Coon Rapids apartment
Authorities are investigating a woman's death in Coon Rapids early Thursday morning.
Police say they found a 24-year-old man in the entryway of an apartment complex at 9280 University Avenue NW, about a mile north of the Northtown Mall shopping center, with serious but unidentified injuries.
As they investigated, officers found a 34-year-old woman dead in an apartment inside, the victim of an apparent homicide, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
Police say they believe there was a relationship between the two, but aren't offering any details, and say that investigators aren't looking for any suspects. The injured man is listed in critical condition at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
