Today's Morning Edition music is from "Kill the Lights" by country music star Luke Bryan, who will become the first act to fill the new U.S. Bank Stadium with music.

The concert in Minneapolis is Friday night.

It's a long way from his roots in Georgia. Bryan got his first guitar at age 14 and loved it. But the tragic death of his brother in a car accident caused him to veer away from his dream of becoming a country music star. Eventually, his dad urged him to go to the country music mecca of Nashville to take his shot at stardom.

It's worked out pretty well. He's had 15 hits reach the top of the country charts, and won big awards like the Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year.

If you are going to the concert, the doors open at 5 p.m.
