Peaches to perform in Minneapolis after productive break between albums
Today's Morning Edition music is from "I Mean Something" by Peaches, with a featured vocal by Feist.
Peaches will be performing Wednesday night at First Avenue in Minneapolis. She's touring behind her first solo album in six years.
During her hiatus from recording, Peaches starred in a one-woman stage production of "Jesus Christ Superstar," which the Guardian described as "killer." She also released a film version of her electro-rock opera "Peaches Does Herself" and put out a book of photos and text called "What Else is in the Teaches of Peaches." Yoko Ono, Ellen Page, and Michael Stipe all contributed to the text.
